Banca Transilvania app BT Pay does accept maestro or visa debit cards?
Yesterday at arcade café Bucharest two ING.BE maestro cards and a Bank of Valletta visa debit card were not accepted „transactie nepermisa”
A visa credit card was eventually accepted.
Does babk transylvania not accept maestro or visa debit cards?

Dear Sir,
Banca Transilvania app BT Pay does accept any Maestro or Visa debit cards or credit cards issued by Romanian banks.
Here is the info published on Banca Transilvania site:
Add non-BT card
From now on you can add cards issued by other banks in Romania.
What can you do with them in BT Pay?
- Instant transfer from these cards to your BT cards
- You will be able to send instant money to your friends with BT Pay
If your cards are issued by a foreign bank, there might be a problem adding them to BT Pay.
My advise is to contact Banca Transilvania by phone at numbers: 0264 308 028 sau *8028 to get additional information about BT Pay.
